I am emotionally drained, exhausted, grateful, inspired and I BELIEVE. Emily and her parents’ story — the decisions, the battles she fights on page after page — you won’t be able to put this book down as you’re awaiting her Big WIN against leukemia with CAR-T cell therapy! I followed some of their story through Facebook years ago, so when I saw this book on our local news, I had to read of their journey from the beginning. Emily, Kari and Tom are living proof that miracles do happen! Science plays a roll too of course but the faith they had, the heart wrenching decisions they had to make and the fact that through all of it, their bond is even stronger is nothing short of inspiring!! Even while knowing the ending, I was on the edge of my seat and could not put the book down!
