You can just tell by the way this book is written that the author has a big heart and an even bigger knowledge and love of gardening. Luke Potter is a legend for sharing all this fantastic knowledge and I'm super happy I found this book. I'm also super stoked on the canning recipes I got as a bonus with this book. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Courtney Hayes-Wright -- Love this container gardening book, it's a must read! : This book is a must have for anyone that wants to try container gardening or already loves container gardening. "How To Grow Vegetables In Pots & Containers" is full of useful, interesting information and is delivered in an engaging way, which makes it a very easy read. I have always loved growing my herbs for cooking, as you an see a few in my picture, but my family and I expanded into different vegetables, and this book has been a wonderful resource for us. We have utilized it to gather info on what types of containers to use, to help us determine best location for pots based on sunlight, and dealing with pests etc. As suggested, my hubby and I included our daughter, who is a finicky eater in the planting, watering and harvesting. She is taking to it and slowly starting to try new vegetables! I am especially excited to try canning tomatoes with any surplus we have; I will refer back to the canning and preserving chapters to accomplish this. Needless to say, I highly recommend adding this book to your gardening library. ( Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2021 )
